Paige Van Overberghe
Paige is a Bachelor of Honours Global Business and Digital Arts student at the University of Waterloo. She continues to excel academically, earning a certification in Sports Marketing from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, Media, and Integrated Marketing Communication. Additionally, a specialization certification in Data Analytics in Sports Law and Management from the University at Buffalo (SUNY).
Paige gained early experience as a competitive multi-sport athlete, starting soccer at age three and hockey at age six, while also participating in field hockey, softball, basketball, and badminton. As a student-athlete at Mother Teresa Catholic Secondary School, she was an alternate captain of the Girls' Varsity Hockey team before serving as captain in her final year.
Paige most recently transitioned to her first season behind the bench as an assistant coach, working with U18AA elite athletes from Edmonton Female Hockey Alliance during the 2025-2026 season. Her community involvement with First Shift Alberta and Lambeth Learn to Skate helps introduce youth to the benefits of the sport, confidence and community. Paige has taken on freelance work of her own, helping female athletes, from youth to professionals, build consistent brand awareness. She has the ability to implement brand-building, creative direction, and strategic planning, and an understanding of the evolving social media market.
